Livingston, as one of Scotland’s new towns, is different by design. LUPC seeks to creatively and relevantly connect with individuals, families and communities throughout the town.
As the parish church which serves 8 out of the town’s 10 main residential areas LUPC offers practical and spiritual guidance for key life events, from child blessings and baptisms to marriage and funerals. If you would like to explore a baptism, marriage or funeral, please contact one of our team on 07933 085186 or by email.
Sheltered Housing / Care Homes
Teams from the church visit and lead monthly services in residential care homes around the town – click here for information.
We work with and support a number of local Community Partners across Livingston and beyond.
We host a number of events for the local community, including afternoon teas to showcase the work of local organisations, lunches for those around during the day and hustings in the run-up to local and national elections. Follow us on facebook or twitter to keep up-to-date with our latest events.
As part of the community hub at Nether Dechmont our church buildings are suitable for a wide range of use by community groups and organisations.
If you have any questions about any of LUPC’s community connections please contact our Church & Community Development Worker Ken Brown at Kenneth.Brown@churchofscotland.org.uk .
